You like the interface and feel of LPX better, etc. For example, if you need tools that LPX provides that your current DAW doesn't have.
As a LPX user, I think this would be a good move in general, but it should be done for the right reason.
Shift the focus form BUY-BUY-BUY to LEARN-LEARN-LEARNĪbout your upgrade to LPX. Many DAW users would improve their recordings/mixes much more if they would invest into books about recording and their tools (Disclaimer, I also write books), instead of the next "must-have" plugin. I guarantee you that a true master can make song recorded and mixed with GarageBand sound better than many users with a $50k ProTools rig with all the Waves Plugins. It done by someone who learned his skills (in school, in studios, from other masters) with years of experience. Too often the focus is on which DAW is the best, which Plugins do I need, instead of LEARNING, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE.Ī good sounding recording is not done by someone who had the best DAW and the most Plugins.
It is not the tools that someone uses, it is the person who knows how to use the tools. I am asking questions, not making statements, so please be humble :-) So my question is, will I notice any difference in quality when changing, should I change? I tried Ableton Live 9 Suite, and It feels like the sound is more high-end, and workflow is pretty good, but I didnt like the "laggy" interface, and non-fluid stuff.Īnd I have read, and seen alot about Logic Pro X, and It seems to be a really nice looking, high quality, fluid DAW It feels like the sound you get from VST's, and so on from other DAW'sĪre better, then what I get from FL Studio 12. Is this a fact, or something I just got in my head? It seems that the Waves license center can inappropriately try to use Ad hoc networks to connect to the internet (and fail). Networks: Some people have reported that disabling Bluetooth (Ad hoc) networks can solve failure to load issues. But my ears keeps telling me that i'm not reaching the tracks full potential, I compare it with other songs and sometimes I find it, strange. NOTE: that this procedure only works in FL Studio 9 or later. I have started to grasp the whole concept of Mastering, and Mixing to get a high-end result of my track every time. I have been using FL Studio (12 atm) for a while, and I've hit a stopping point. Waves - 11 Complete STANDALONE, VST, VST3, RTAS, AAX 圆4 OFFLiNE iNSTALLER / :.
